Summer U Presents ... "The Edge of Never" w/ Bill Kerig

The Edge of Never ... An Epic Story

Author, producer, former pro-skier, and St. Mikes alumni Bill Kerig will be coming to the UVM's Davis Center - Grand Maple Ballroom on Wednesday November 11th, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. to make a presentation about “The Edge of Never”. He will be showing clips from the movie, reading excerpts from his book, and reflecting on his experience as a professional skier.

“The Edge of Never” is a nonfiction book and movie that follows the story of 15 year old Kye Petersen who travels to Chamonix, France, to ski the route that killed his famous, big-mountain skiing father, Trevor Petersen.

We will be raffling off lift tickets to different mountains and tickets to the screening of the full film that is happening later that night at The Flynn downtown. As always, there will also be fun Summer U giveaways!
